The Pinery Water and Wastewater District is seeking an energetic and dedicated wastewater operator to become a strong piece of our team which prides ourselves in providing exceptional customer service. The Pinery WWD is a water and wastewater service provider located in eastern Douglas County dedicated to providing “Quality Water for LIFE” to nearly 15,000 customers.
The Pinery wastewater treatment facility is a renowned Bardenpho Nutrient Removal water reclamation facility with capacity to treat 2.0 MGD, followed by tertiary water treatment filters for enhanced chemical phosphorous removal. Our Operators perform skilled work in the operation, maintenance, and laboratory testing of our water reclamation systems. We ensure maximum efficiency of facility equipment utilizing preventative, predictive and emergency maintenance while taking great pride in facility cleanliness and appearance.
